Apple’s Core 2 Duo MacBook

November 8th, 2006

AppleApple just updated the MacBook line with Core 2 Duos. The pricing and just about everything else looks the same as before, including the premium of an extra $200 bucks getting you a black MacBook and a bigger hard drive.

I’ve had a trusty MacBook for quite some time now, and I’ve been very happy with it. It’s a solid, fast machine. My only difficulties have been the bizarre stains, and some crazy fan activity.

In a related tidbit of Apple news, it’s a safe bet the Mac Mini will go Core 2 Duo soon as well. AppleInsider reports a website glitch that pointed to a web page saying as much.

Disclosure: I own a tiny amount of Apple stock.
