iPod Shuffle 2G Shipping

Call me a sucker, but I’m thinking about getting a 2G iPod Shuffle. I already have the original iPod Shuffle and an iPod Video, but this micro-sized iPod brings life the Steve Jobs parody on Saturday Night Live a while back where he keeps pulling smaller and smaller iPods out of his jeans pocket.

It seems like the next logical step is to have the iPod so small that it becomes part of the headphones, kind of like those Bluetooth earpieces people wear so they can look like a cyborg, talking to themselves in public. That one will be the iPod Ear-Nano. The warning label might read: “Do not breathe on iPod Ear-Nano or it will float away, and be lost forever.” And you will have to buy a new iPod Ear-Nano… and another… and another…

    I am also thinking of getting one of them, but a 512 for school. I have an 80gb right now. But i don't want to spend over $50 on an ipod.
  • It's a close call... for some people, $100 bucks is not that big a deal. I think that price is the premium one pays for the small form factor.
