I just installed a beta version of this program CrossOver on my MacBook. I installed IE 6 to test it out, and it works as advertised, although IE seems to get bogged down from time to time and show a blank page. However, I’m just hoping to take a peek at web sites I’m designing occasionally in IE and it looks like this free beta program will do that for the time being.

The promise of running Windows apps on a Mac directly in OSX is pretty close to a reality. I’m sure it will happen sooner than later, using software like Parallels or added by Apple into a future version of OSX.

My real intent is to get a copy of Windows XP and do the Boot Camp thing. I just haven’t to ponied up for a complete install disc just yet.
