Here’s an article about MacBook stains, specifically beneath the keyboard on either sides of the trackpad, where hands rest. My 2 cents is I’ve seen nothing of the sort on my MacBook after a few weeks of heavy use. I did however, develop yellowish stains on my old iBook which I know specifically were a result of eating honey-mustard pretzels during use. Maybe I’m just cleaner now, but I’m thinking about some extra caution, and possibly using a USB mouse whenever possible.
