Been in Hawaii for the past week or so, resulting in not too much computer time. There’s something about hanging out with family and going to the beach that makes staring at a computer screen seem rather trivial and unimportant. It’s the contrast of blue sky and green mountains, piles of raw fish, and warm sun and rain. We went to Hilo for the weekend and saw many unique to Hawaii sights. Hilo is a sleepy town with rural living.

I’ll write more later, but island time has set in. To quote a local radio announcer, “The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.”
