New iBook (MacBook)? April 19?
If this article is correct, this will be a fun week indeed, with coincidentally a day off on Wednesday. I have a suspicion this might be an announcement with the actual hardware not shipping until a month from now, but then again the production of a MacBook shouldn’t be too different from the currently shipping MacBook Pro.
With the naming convention of “MacBook” and “MacBook Pro” I’m wondering what will happen to the Intel desktop line. Will they keep “iMac” and call the former Power Macintoshes “iMac Pro?” Or will that product line get shuffled around also? Something to think about.
