New Fun Mac Stuff
Well, looks like the only Apple announcement with anything to write home about is the Intel Mac Mini, a pretty solid and expected update pushing the Mac closer to the center of the living room. But as for the other two items, I just think they’re luxury items for people with a lot of money to burn, I mean, $99 bucks for what amounts to a fancy iPod Sock? And the iPod Hi-Fi, while nice, isn’t good enough to be a full stereo replacement yet it costs several hundred. I also think Apple could have done better on the design. The whole iPod sticking up out of the hardware thing is a bit typical. But all in all, pretty decent update which unfortunately was way over hyped, especially for the folks expecting a full-screen iPod video or Apple to buy Disney.
